The TolkLang web site hosts a mirror of the Elfling list and of the Lambengolmor list, which were mailing lists on Tolkienian linguistics, originally distributed via the defunct Yahoo! Groups service.

Disclaimer: The mirrors are provided as a service to the members of TolkLang and the other lists; the TolkLang administration has no responsibility whatsoever for the contents of the mirrors, and makes no promises about the completeness or availability of the mirrors. The mirrors operated until about 2012.

The mirrors are available: elfling and lambengolmor.

Please note the following points:

• The copies of messages in this mirror are not identical to those once available through the Yahoo service, although there should be no difference in the main text. Yahoo added numerous message headers to the messages it distributes, which are not present in the mirror. Yahoo also inserted `[elfling|lambengolmor]' at the beginning of the Subject: header; this is not present in the mirror.
• As an anti-spam measure, all messages available on the Yahoo Web site have email addresses mangled. The same mangling is applied to the messages held here. Thus a search for a known email address will not succeed, unless you first mangle it.
• There is currently no search function on this site. Harri Perälä provides a combined search service.
